The Boston Underground Film Festival began its life as an all-night film marathon run by founder David Kleiler and longtime festival pal Dima Ballin. This informal event quickly grew into the first annual Boston Underground Film Festival held at the Revolving Museum in South Boston.
Received press and additional promotional materials are accepted but not required. Please include the running time either on the disc/cassette or sleeve (preferably both). Due to the volume of submissions we receive, submitted items cannot be returned. Acceptable formats for submissions include DVD (NTSC/PAL), VHS (NTSC only). Feature films include films of any genre that run at or over 60 minutes in length. Short films include any film of any genre that runs over 20 minutes or under. Medium length include any film of any genre that runs over 20 minutes but under 60.

Awards / Prizes:
6 Bacchus (statuette) and the Dewey award for quote in a film -$5000 Macbook and a contract.
