Description

The Fajr International Film Festival or Fajr Film Festival is Iran’s annual film festival, held every February in Tehran, Iran. The festival, started in 1982, is under the supervision of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance in Iran. It takes place every year on the anniversary of the Iranian revolution.


Submission Requirements:

16mm, 35mm. Films must have been produced during the three years before the festival and must not have previously been shown in Tehran. If the film is not in English or French it must have English or French subtitles

Crystal Simorgh prizes for best feature film, best director, best script, best performance, and a special jury prize
