The Isle of Wight Short Film Festival (IOWSFF) was formed in 2007, supported by Screen South, National Lottery, Quay Arts and the Isle of Wight Film Network. The first festival was held in Quay Arts and was for filmmakers from the Isle of Wight to show and compete their work against each other. As time went on the festival grew and moved into Cineworld in Newport and was supported by Fuji Film and Amnesty International. 2011 saw filmmakers come from as far afield as the USA and Singapore and the audiences grew and the amount of films screened expanded.
Films can be of any age.
