The Ivy Film Festival (IFF) is among the largest student-run film festivals in the world and offers students from domestic and foreign universities a venue to exhibit their work. Founded in 2001 by David Peck and Justin Slosky, the festival occurs annually in the spring, spans a full week, and is held at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. Each year, filmmakers and enthusiasts from around the world flock to Brown to attend keynote speeches, panels and workshops by entertainment industry professionals, student film screenings, pre-release screenings, receptions and parties.
Films and screenplays must be student-produced. Formatting; MiniDV (Preferred); Self-contained Quicktime Movie (,mov) with no proprietary codecs printed on a Data-DVD; Region 0 or 1 DVD; VHS. All media must be formatted in NTSC.
