Description

Limburg Film Festival is an annual festival that took place for the first time in June 2016. The first edition was completely focussed on local films. From 2017 on, the festival will show not only local productions, but also international ones.

Limburg Film Festival aims to entertain, motivate and inspire her audience. With the films that are shown, she wants to start discussions and debate, so that people will understand better other cultures and the world we live in. Filmmakers are invited to talk with the audience and can be awarded with the Audience Award. Besides screening of shorts, there will be Q&A’s and lectures and debate.


Submission Requirements:

1. Films and filmmakers can be of any age and from everywhere around the world.
2. The maximum running time is 20 minutes (including credits).
3. Films in every genre and style can be submitted (e.d. fiction, documentary, animation, experimental and more). Pick the category that suits best.
4. Titles produced in languages other than English must have legible English subtitles or should be dubbed in English. When selected all films must have English subtitles.
5. The winner will be chosen by the audience and will receive a digital certificate.
