Description

Sao Paulo International Short Film Festival is one of the world’s largest and most traditional events dedicated to short films. Held in the city of Sao Paulo since 1990, it has become a landmark in the city’s cultural agenda for its broad and diverse programming, which is screened free of charge at several theaters and cultural centers in Sao Paulo.Every year, the Festival selects around 400 films from a wide range of countries, seeking to represent the diversity and variety of the world’s short film production, as well as to broaden the dialogue between international audiovisual and Latin American production.


Submission Requirements:

16mm, 35mm (optical only). Running time under 35 minutes. Entries must have been produced during the 18 months before festival. Films must be subtitled in English, Spanish or Portugese if not original language
